a blanket of snow sweeps across a field of sky a lake ripples from feet-less fish, diving ducks, and a gentle wind gone unnoticed, until it calls to feel Itself again God, you're here, I just didn't notice a bird’s reflection glides beneath the liquid cloth, swathed in silken draperies thoughts climb Jacob’s Ladder only to meet a disappearance into Heaven's Everywhere-ness I believed I was here, but here keeps changing, staying put as an endless thought of Unknowing God, I'm here, I just didn't notice
